The Department of Small Business Development (DSBD) has relaunched its R250,000 Asset Assist Programme, providing much-needed support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) across South Africa.

The €5,700,000 initiative seeks to generate long-term economic benefits while supporting conservation objectives, following the NaturAfrica approach.

The €3,000 AI Adoption Program 2025, developed by INDPULS, offers a powerful pathway for startups and small-to-medium enterprises to bring their artificial intelligence solutions into real industrial settings.

Impact-driven startups and social enterprises can now apply for Expo City Dubai Foundation’s Global Innovators Programme, which offers grants of up to US$ 100,000. The programme backs scalable solutions that tackle urgent challenges, especially in the Global South.

The Mastercard Foundation EdTech Fellowship, run by the Meltwater Foundation, is now accepting applications for its third cohort. The program offers $60,000 in equity-free funding, business acceleration, mentorship, market access, and impact-driven learning support.

The focus of this initiative is to provide ₦15 billion in funding to support over 10,000 SMEs across Nigeria, alongside capacity building, financial literacy training, and investor linkages to help women and youth-led businesses scale sustainably.

MTN Uganda Limited and the World Wide Fund have partnered to launch the PachiPanda Challenge for Uganda in 2025, an initiative that encourages youths and youth-led SMEs to create new ideas that tackle current environmental challenges and promote sustainability through technological solutions.

The ₦6,500,000 Nigeria PachiPanda Challenge is an innovation initiative designed to provide young people and youth-led SMEs the opportunity to develop innovative, long-term solutions and ideas to pressing environmental challenges and promote sustainability in Nigeria.
