Priority Areas
- Priority areas are as follows:
- Strengthening and expanding capacity in sectors relating to mining and critical minerals.
- Strengthening transparency by fostering an independent and professional media.
- Combat the illegal timber and mining trade.
- Promoting entrepreneurship and business development, or business climate reforms.
Funding Information
- Award Amounts: Awards may range from a minimum of $5,000 to a maximum of $40,000
- Program Performance Period: Proposed projects should be completed in 12 months or less.
Eligibility:
- The following organizations are eligible to apply (both U.S. and Zambian):
- Registered not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations
- Public and private educational institutions
- Individuals
- Public International Organizations and Governmental institutions
- All organizations must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) issued via SAM.gov as well as a valid registration on SAM.gov.
